By 16 I was running my family's fruit and veg stall. At 19 I started my first business and grew it to £300k in sales. By 29 I'd built a £5m business, and at 31 I'd lost everything. Then a team and a city that needed hope chose me to lead them, and in 2021 we won when no one believed we could. I know what it takes to get people believing and pulling in one direction, and I help ambitious business leaders align their team, board and shareholders behind their vision.
From the market stall to the council chamber, everything I've done has been about bringing people together. I've seen what people achieve when they're aligned, and what happens when they're not. My mission is to inspire leaders around the world to become the greatest version of themselves, and create wealth, success and opportunity for everyone around them. My vision is a global alignment leadership training company, in every country in the world.
I started work at ten, selling vegetables on our family market stall.
At fifteen I was elected to the Youth Parliament to represent Southampton: my first experience of representing people. I created the Southampton Youth Cabinet, bringing schools from across the city together so each could represent itself, and together we could represent the city.

I started my first business at 19, selling renewable energy systems. In May 2008, at 22, it went under, and that same month I was elected to the council. Three months later, as Lehman Brothers collapsed, I started buying property.

By 29 I had grown Bellows Direct Food Services, a spin-out from the family business, from £1,000 a week in sales to £5m in annual recurring revenue, and built a property portfolio.
In spring 2016, Bellows went into administration. Heritage Fine Foods, a fellow supplier, bought the business, and I moved the operations straight across. I couldn't bring my team with me, so I found them jobs wherever I could, even with competitors. Then I stayed on to rebuild the business for Heritage. They're still going strong today, and we've looked out for each other ever since.
At 31, I was bankrupt. For nine months I slept on my mum's floor, on three cushions, with a phone with no contract and a few clothes to my name.

Eleven months after going bankrupt, still technically bankrupt, my group chose me as their leader. My mission was to bring the team back together and win the council. No one believed we could. In May 2021, we did, and at 35 I became Leader of Southampton City Council, delivering an energetic change programme for the city.

As Leader of the Council, I welcomed a delegation of Indonesian politicians to Southampton, led by Sultan Bachtiar Najamudin, then Deputy Chair of the Indonesian Senate. Over lunch we explored how Southampton and Indonesia could work together, and sent one clear message: Southampton is open for business. In 2024, Sultan became Speaker of the Indonesian Senate. The relationship was built before the top job.

At MIPIM in Cannes, the world's leading property and investment event, I was the lead political figure for Central South: Southampton and the wider region of Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey and West Sussex. Instead of competing for attention, the region stood together under one banner, as the UK's global gateway, to drive inward investment. It's alignment at the scale of a region: when places row together, investors listen.

When Russia invaded Ukraine, Southampton wanted to help. Working with Paulina from the city's Polish community, I co-ordinated the city's appeal. Donations poured into St Mary's Leisure Centre until it overflowed. So I brought in Balfour Beatty and the owners of the former Toys R Us site, and together we opened the whole site as a regional distribution centre for the relief effort. Council assets, business partners and volunteers, all pulling in one direction.

In May 2022 we narrowly lost our majority, and I lost the group leadership. Six months later, my group asked me back. In 2023 I was invited to Downing Street twice, in March and again in July, to meet the Prime Minister and make the case for Southampton. I led the group until I stood down from politics in May 2024.
As Leader of the Council, I led Southampton's bid for Lord Mayor status. Before she passed, Her Majesty the Queen wrote to bestow the honour on our city. In February 2023, HRH The Princess Royal came to Southampton to confer it, and I was proud to be there to meet her.

At the end of 2024, everything fell away again. By summer 2025 I had moved in with my dad in Winchester, with nothing left but a vision of my life. I decided to honour that vision, and to let a power greater than myself guide me.
I've rebuilt myself from the ground up: calming my emotions, learning constantly, and getting fitter and stronger than ever. I stepped away from a project I'd committed to with others for nearly four years, unpaid, and didn't know what to do next. Then the universe brought me a new client: in February 2026 I began supporting them with property advisory. I booked onto courses, attended the Millionaire Mind Intensive in July, and took a leap of faith to join Quantum Leap, without the resources to do it. Today I'm fully committed to my vision: speaking, leading and bringing people together, globally.

Training, stillness, and the causes I show up for.
